Erika Iris Simmons To Create Official Artwork For 2013 Grammy Awards
When Bruno Mars blast into solo super stardom with the smash hit "Just The Way You Are," he did so with the help of having an extremely creative accompanying music video. The video incorporated stop animation of portraits of a girl and other objects made completely of the tape from an unwound cassette tape. The video was inspired by the artwork of artist Erika Iris Simmons, professionally known as iri5.
She has been tapped to create the official artwork for the 55th Annual Grammy Awards, taking place February 10th, 2013. So when you see the artwork on the Grammys program book, telecast tickets, promotional poster, and invitations, be reminded of Bruno's music video.
