Bruno Mars Set To Perform At 2014 Super Bowl XLVIII Half Time
It's official!! Yesterday, reports spread over the internet that Bruno Mars would be the half time performer at the 2014 Super Bowl XLVIII in February. Today the official announcement was made on Fox NFL Sunday this morning. Bruno and the Hooligans were on hand for the announcement. It was also posted on Bruno's official website.

Some are questioning why Bruno was chosen, saying he does not represent New York. For those nay sayers, may I remind you of his tie to New York. His father Peter Hernandez was/is a Latin percussionist from Brooklyn. His brother/drummer Eric Hernandez was born in Brooklyn. And there you have it. His tie to New York. So let's move on.
This will be Bruno's first-ever Super Bowl performance. I can't help but be reminded of his tweet referencing Beyonce's Super Bowl performance last year...

Start working on that stamina now Bruno because this is MAJOR but there's no doubt he will as always put on a stellar performance. The Super Bowl will air February 2, 2014 on Fox.
