While in the Philippines for the international 2nd leg of the Moonshine Jungle World Tour, Bruno Mars visited the Solaire Resort to attend a charity donation event. He donated $100,000 to ABS-CBN Foundation for the victims of Typhoon Haiyan.
Back in November, Bruno and his sisters The Lylas also donated money to aid Supertyphoon Yolanda victims.

Back in 2012, Bruno Mars and Fender donated 28 ukuleles to WISH Charter School.
Seems Bruno has once again donated to them. This year he donated an autographed Fender guitar, seen in the picture below.
The GRAMMY Foundation announced on February 26th, 2014 that Bruno Mars is set to partner with HAWAI'I COMMUNITY FOUNDATION and the GRAMMY Foundation to establish the Bruno Mars Scholarship Fund. The fund will provide financial assistance for 5 students to attend GRAMMY Camp, sending a different student each year over the course of the next five years. Preference will be given to students from Hawaii.
At the recommendation of Bruno, the fund was established through a grant from the Hawai'i Community Foundation. The deadline to apply is March 31st, 2014. Check out www.grammyintheschools.com to submit your application, video audition, and financial assistance form.
Yesterday I huffed and puffed through 2 miles on the beautiful Santa Monica beach with The Laylas...I mean The Lylas (as the announcer kept saying). All for a good cause. To help aid Supertyphoon Yolanda Relief in the Philippines.
It was a beautiful, fun event with perfect weather. Actor Josh Duhamel (aka Fergie's husband) and Doctor Lisa Masterson were among the participants.
The Lylas of course were beautiful as ever. Check out the photo above...and that was AFTER we finished running!
The Lylas are not the only ones participating in efforts to aid the Philippines. Bruno Mars helped promote World Food Program donations by tweeting "Millions of families in the Philippines need your help now" a while ago.
Back on May 22nd 2013, Bruno Mars performed at a charity event for The Posse Foundation Inc at New York's Cipriani Wall Street. At the annual gala (An Evening Of Stars), actor John Lguizamo, introduced Bruno.
