Actress Anne Hathaway, who voices the character Jewel in Rio 2, had a few comments about Bruno Mars' character Roberto in this MTV interview. Check it out to see what she said.
Well looky here looky here ah what do we have? Jamie Foxx and Bruno Mars in Singapore!
Seems Jamie Foxx was in Singapore promoting his Spiderman Movie while Bruno Mars was also there for the Singapore stop on the Moonshine Jungle World Tour. Jamie shared a photo via twitter of the two, who are also co-starring in the new Rio 2 movie, soon to be released in April. Here's to hoping the two will put out a collab soon!
When answering fan questions in a Live Nation Q&A/Twitter Takeover yesterday, the legendary Lionel Richie revealed that one of his favorite current artists is Bruno Mars. "Very talented lyricist, very talented songwriter, and uh a performer" are the words he had to say about Bruno.
Sharon Osbourne and her husband Ozzy attended Bruno Mars' concert at The Chelsea in Las Vegas, and shared a photo via twitter. Check it out below.
Members from Janet Jackson's official twitter team shared a video of Bruno Mars covering Janet's "That's The Way Love Goes" in Las Vegas at The Chelsea on December 29th.
Remember that Janet's had an affinity for Bruno since before he made it to the status he's at now. Bruno has also coverd the song at previous performances. Seems Bruno is showing the love right back at ya Janet.
And for a trip down memory lane, here's part of Bruno covering the song back on New Year's Eve 2012.
It's no secret that Ariana Grande is a huge fan of Bruno Mars. She's let it be known on several occasions.
Check out what happened when she saw him at the MTV EMA's!
Bruno Mars is racking up a huge list of celebrities that enjoy his music. From Ariana Grande to Babyface to Elton John, the list goes on. This time it's none other than the fabulous Britney Spears. Britney showed love for Bruno in the same fashion as Demi Lovato...in a Q&A.
During an #AskBritneyJean Twitter Q&A with her fans yesterday, Britney was asked "what is your favorite song at the moment?" Check out her answer...
Looks like actress and The View Co-host Sherri Shepherd is a fan of Bruno Mars. Apparently she knows the words to "When I Was Your Man," though she might not know the title. Either that or she's been a victim of auto-correct.
Well Sherrie, did you know his favorite part of the day is when she dance in the mirror? Well maybe not anymore but it used to be...Kind of ironic that she (probably unknowingly) used partial lyrics to one of his throwback, pre-fame songs.
Sherrie shared her enthusiasm for the song in a tweet below. How many Bruno fans read the first part of the tweet with the melody for "Dance In The Mirror?"
Seems The Wanted's Max George isn't the only fan of Bruno Mars. Another member of The Wanted, Nathan Sykes seems to be a fan as well. You've got some pretty good vocals there yourself Nathan. Cue solo in "I Found You."
Short but sweet. A while back, Miss Katy Perry admitted she would love to collaborate with Bruno Mars.
On a segment titled "La Boîte à Questions" on the French show Le Grand Journal, Katy Perry and iconic designer Karl Lagerfeld were asked several questions. Katy read and answered the questions in English. When asked her opinion on Bruno Mars singing "Treasure" at the Super Bowl, Katy broke out into song! Check her out singing a quick snippet of "Treasure" in the clip below.
She's got the eye of the tiger, he's got gorillas and the moonshine jungle. In fact in her new music video for "Roar," it looks like she's IN the Moonshine Jungle.
She says you're gonna hear her roar, he says you'll be bangin on his chest...bang bang, gorilla. Inevitable collaboration? I think yes.
Check out one of the many celebs who expressed their admiration for Bruno Mars at this year's iHeart Radio Music Festival. None other than Miss Katy Perry herself.
Is anyone else having flashbacks of Bruno photobombing Katy's 2010 Grammy Nominations Concert interview on the red carpet?
Seems Katy wouldn't mind doing a collaboration with Bruno. Well take note Katy, you see, Bruno already did a fabulous cover/remix of your song "California Gurls" back in the day. So perhaps the feeling is mutual. So come on you two, let's make this happen asap. Click the link in the tweet below to hear the words straight from Katy Perry herself.
The reactions started pouring out yesterday, after reports spread that Bruno Mars would be the half time performer at the Super Bowl in February. More came after it was officially announced by the NFL.
But I'd say Bruno Mars' first official public reaction via twitter was best.
Several celebs and prominent people like actress/talk show host Holly Robinson Peete, Billboard magazine's editorial director Bill Werde, and Head of Pop/Dance Programming for Beats Music/Grammys correspondent Arjan Timmermans voiced their opinions.
And then there's Ellie Goulding and Noelle Scaggs, who recently toured with Bruno...
And then there's the Stereotypes, who worked with Bruno back in the day...
And I'm sure many more to come, or some I've missed.
Late post. But since I posted my list of best celeb tweets about Bruno Mars' 2013 VMA performance, there were some that didn't really fall into the category of "celebs." So let's just call them...prominent people.
Here's my list of the best tweets from prominent people/companies regarding Bruno Mars' 2013 VMA performance, no particular order.
So Bruno Mars can now sit two MTV moonmen next to his Grammy and American Music Award... and all the other awards he's won.
Several celebs took to twitter to voice their opinions about his VMA performance and win. Here are the ones that made my list of the best, in no particular order.
It's no secret that singer/actress Ariana Grande is a fan of Bruno Mars. She has tweeted her affinity for Bruno on several occasions over the past several years. Shall we take a stroll down memory lane? We shall. But let's not get too carried away with it. Seems more of a fangirl type crush than anything. And you'll see how this led up to her response during an MTV VMA 2013: All Access interview.
Ariana has covered Bruno's song "Grenade" and even performed it at live shows.
Actress Melissa Joan Hart knows what's up. During her live tweeting spree for her show Melissa & Joey, when asked who are her current favorite music acts she named Bruno Mars as one. Seems she and The Wanted's Max George have something in common.
Remember to help support Bruno and vote for Bruno to win at the VMAs.
And the celeb love just keeps on coming. TMZ caught The Wanted's Max George walking down what appears to be Sunset Blvd in Los Angeles by The House Of Blues. Appearently he and band mate Tom Parker had just left Saddleranch so some say maybe he was intoxicated. Regardless, when asked what music he's enjoying he replied "uh Bruno Mars I think every time he, every time he sings I think he's got the best voice in the world."
He also comments on One Direction and Justin Bieber. But don't take my word for it, watch the clip below.
This is not the first time Max has shown his appreciation for Bruno. In a Q&A with the Las Vegas Sun via phone, when asked "Who are your favorite artists right now?" Max replied "Bruno Mars is great. I love his voice, hit after hit."
Friendly reminder, have you voted for Bruno to win a VMA?
It went dooown at the Staples Center when Bruno Mars and his Hooligans rolled back into town to play 2 sold-out shows on July 27th and 28th. And there were just way too many celebs in the audience to even begin to list/name them all. But I'll try...
