Bruno Mars Donates $100,000 To The Victims Of Typhoon Haiyan

(Philippines)  

While in the Philippines for the international 2nd leg of the Moonshine Jungle World Tour, Bruno Mars visited the   Solaire Resort to attend a charity donation event. He donated $100,000 to ABS-CBN Foundation for the victims of Typhoon Haiyan.

Back in November, Bruno and his sisters The Lylas also   donated money to aid Supertyphoon Yolanda victims.

Bruno Mars Wins And Performs Treasure At The 2014 Brit Awards

Last night, Bruno Mars was   up for International Male Solo Artist at the 2014 Brit Awards. He was up against Drake, Eminem, John Grant, and Justin Timberlake.

He and partner Philip Lawerence had a little fun getting to the show.

This is the second win of this category for Bruno, as he won back in 2012. Congrats Bruno!

Bruno Mars Nominated For 2014 Brit Awards

Late news but Bruno Mars is nominated for   International Male Solo Artist for the 2014 Brit Awards. Competitors in the category include Drake, Eminem, John Grant, and Justin Timberlake.

The Brit Awards will be broadcast live from London's O2 Arena on February 19, 2014 on ITV at 8pm GMT.

Lenny Kravitz Joins Bruno Mars On Stage In Paris

We were warned that something extra was coming for tonight's Paris stop of the Moonshine Jungle World Tour. Boy was that something extra special. The legendary   Lenny Kravitz   performed on stage with Bruno, singing his hit song "Are You Gonna Go My Way."

This is all very befitting since this year is the 20th anniversary of the song, and a deluxe edition of the song is currently on sale.

Bruno Mars Receives Double Platinum Plaque From Warner Music Ireland

During the European/UK leg of his Moonshine Jungle World Tour, Bruno Mars and Philip Lawrence met up with the Warner Music Ireland crew before their sold out show in Dublin on October 3rd. They received a plaque for Unorthodox Jukebox being two times platinum in Ireland. Check out the photo below.

Bruno Mars Throws Hat At Dubai Concert

Bruno Mars performed his first ever   concert in the Middle East April 12th, 2013  at the Dubai Media City Amphitheatre. Performing to a sold out crowd, his setlist included his old as well as new songs. Check out a short clip of his "Locked Out Of Heaven" performance below. In the clip, Bruno takes his fedora off and throws it to the crowd. So what happened to the hat? Who was the lucky person that caught it? Check out the pics/tweets below to see.

"you can't really dance and get a good shot."

As he elaborates on this, he recalls when he used to go to concerts.
"I remember going to a concert when I was growing up and if you had a video camera you’d get escorted out"

Bruno Mars Performs On Vivement Dimanche

Bruno Mars performed "When I Was Your Man" on the episode of Vivement Dimanche (a French show) that aired April 7th 2013. After the performance, he did a short interview with host Michel Drucker and singer   Matt Pokora.  Watch as he also does a short impromptu singing of Celine Dion's "My Heart Will Go On." Though there is no video of it, Bruno and band actually performed a longer version at last year's   Hilarity For Charity event.   Though I must say the addition of Matt Pokora made it even funnier. Bruno Mars Performs At The 2013 Logie Awards

Bruno Mars performed "Locked Out Of Heaven" at the 2013 TV Week Logie Awards in Australia. The Logie Awards are "the Australian television industry awards," which would be similar to the Emmy Awards in the United States. Why are they called the Logies? They were named after the Scottish inventor of televsion, John Logie Baird.
